Lest we Forget

Rememberance Day 11th November 11am

The Poppy

Wear the poppy on the left side; the red represents the blood of all those who gave their lives, the black represents the mourning of those who didn’t have their loved ones return home, and the green leaf represents the grass and crops growing and future prosperity after the war destroyed so much. The leaf should be positioned at 11 o’clock to represent the eleventh day of the eleventh month,
the time that World War One formally ended.
Remember those past and present wars.

Lest we forget…..

Live like a Duchess!

Meghan Markle Flaunts Her Sustainable, Eco-Friendly Style in Australia

Image result for harry and meghan visits to australia

Her decision to change out of Manolo Blahnik BB pumps into $145 black pointy-toe flats on South Melbourne Beach already turned heads, but then we noticed the shoes she switched into are by Rothy’s and made entirely from recycled plastic water bottles.

We all are royal in our own way! We may not have wealth in a money kind of way. We can still do things like a royal with class including sustainability. Yes that's right Meghan pop on some comfy flats to walk on the beach. Wait for it, oh!!! yes they are made out of recycled plastic water bottles. A Royal Duchess herself. Love this, we can in any cred keep the momentum going, and if you haven't START NOW - IT'S NOT TO LATE!!!!!   One step at a time or all in!!! If a Royal can and you want to live like one this is a great way to live. Sustainability.

Image result for toxic

Stop - and read all the product information on what your purchasing, it's costing your health..... Then ask yourself WHY... Why do i buy these toxic, chemical products. Your answer can be simple like mine, because my mum did, then its the commercial on TV that suck us in and that isle way down the back on the opposite end to the supermarket. The the reason it's there is the fumes you can smell passing through it's allowed to be near fresh produce just in case for cross contamination.

Here's a small household product list of what has the highest toxic levels and cruelty to animals in your home.
I've been replacement buying for approximately 4 years to plant-base produces. These products were a great way to start replacement buying and have low toxicity, still have perfumes that can still be carcinogenic to our health.

Business I've been!

In September

www.hemphemphooray.com.au

Teresa McDowell has been mastering her hemp line since 2006 and has a lovely little shop in the Gawler St, Mt Barker. When I visit I'm always greeted with a smile. I'm very interested in what's new and the back to basic merchandise including my new string bag, like my nanna would have used. Face washers for a baby present Go for a visit to her shop or on line, supporting local community. I support this line as we live in this fine land, hemp is more sustainable than cotton. Australia is prone to drought, hemp is where my money is.

THIEVES

The popular and powerful Thieves essential oil blend is a proprietary combination of Cinnamon Bark, Lemon, Rosemary, Eucalyptus, and Clove essential oils.
Did you know?
• Clove was one of the first spices to be traded and can be traced back as far as 1721 BC. It was one of the most precious spices of the 16th and 17th centuries.
• Eugenol, the main constituent of Clove essential oil, has been heavily researched for its beneficial properties.
• Eucalyptus originates in Australia, and there are over 900 different species of eucalyptus.
• Cinnamon spice has been used for centuries.
• The rosemary herb was known by ancient cultures as the herb of memory.
Young Living’s Thieves essential oil blend was inspired by the legend of four 15th-century French thieves who formulated and wore a special aromatic combination of clove, rosemary, and other botanicals that they believed provided protection while they were stealing. French authorities recognized that there was such value in this mixture that upon the thieves’ capture, they received a more merciful punishment on condition that they divulge the ingredients in their secret formula.
Thieves essential oil blend has a warm, spicy scent. Diffuse it for a fresh, clean aroma around the house or apply it topically for its cleansing properties.
Thieves benefits:
•Cleanses when applied topically
•Neutralizes and purifies the air from strong odors when diffused
•Freshens any atmosphere when diffused
Thieves usage:
•Refresh musty carpets by adding 5 drops of Thieves to a cup of baking soda; combine well and let sit overnight until the oil is absorbed. Sprinkle over carpets and vacuum thoroughly.
•Apply Thieves to the bottoms of your feet to refresh yourself after vigorous activity.
•Diffuse it around the classroom or in your home for a fresh, clean fragrance and to neutralize the air from strong odors.
•Add a few drops to your dishwater or dishwasher to eliminate odors and boost cleaning.
Young Living Thieves Vitality™ was specially formulated so that you and your family can enjoy the benefits of Thieves essential oil internally. The difference between Thieves Vitality and Thieves essential oil is simply the labeling and recommended usage. The essential oil in the Vitality product line is the same 100 percent pure, therapeutic-grade essential oil as the topical/aromatic counterpart; however, Thieves Vitality is labeled for dietary use and is the appropriate product to use when sharing dietary uses with others.
Thieves Vitality benefits:*
•Supports overall wellness with just a few drops
•Supports the immune system
•Cleanses the digestive system
•Possesses antioxidant properties
Thieves Vitality usage:

dietary supplement.
•Take Thieves Vitality in a capsule to support your immune system.*

5 tips to boost living well

Life can lead us on a treadmill and can get out of control and into a rut! We are busy with work family, children, work/ family life the list goes on. You know what you can do, here’s some fresh ideas to put one foot in front and head forward:

1 Breathing
Breathing in and out is one of the most fundamental reflex you have naturally.  Oh! You can be do it anywhere, in the car at the lights waiting for them to change, anywhere you are waiting just think, stop, breathe in and out. I use slow deep breathing method when I can’t fall asleep, works a treat.

2 Eating well
We all know it starts at home in our own kitchen. Cooking at home saves you money. We do have to plan to stay on track and if we get off, reset! Take away is a sometime food we are what we eat, its madness at times, information we are inhaling on DIET verse HEALTH interesting when something is underlined we can see more. Reset, refocus balancing and be happy with what you know and learn. Menu planning is a great way to do your shopping list minimizing waste, it also stops the double up in the pantry. Quick easy meals and some that you can double up the recipe and freeze for later in the week. Your body knows what it want’s and will let you know if its lacking something. Foods vitamins and mineral sometimes are lacking and can be improved when hitting your nutrient goals.
If you are lacking in something take notes for a week here’s an app to help https://cronometer.com/

3 Sleep
Sleep is your bodies recharge center! The benefits are being studied all the time. We have heard I don’t get enough sleep! Think back of when you got the best sleep, you know the kind you woke up a felt amazing. Reset! Oh my goodness, has it been so long you can’t remember. You need sleep, having a bath or shower at night, going to bed early, read if you like reading, watch tv, doing anything that’s relaxing and maybe a little mind numbingly boring set a time to go to sleep. Clearing the mind at the end of the day for the next, time is on your side.

4 Moving
We all know this is so important. It’s a function the body requires any movement small or big. You know your capabilities. Start with small steps if it’s been a while a couple of squats while waiting for the kettle to boil or grad the dog lead (if you have a dog) or someone who will motivate you. We can get into a winter rut and it can be had to get out of it, we need to more for our body, mind and spirit (insert you believe here).  So many free tools are online you can do in your home, yoga for something gentle, https://tiffxo.com this is my choice now.

5 Look after you first.
It’s a really hard thing to think to do! Showing the people around us how much we love them is very important. Looking after ourselves in the little things we do. Take time out for you, have your nails done sometimes or go to the hairdresser and have your hair styled or a massage or running a bubble bath, the act of doing something is self-healing. Our friends, partners, family will still be there and will notice you looking after you! Being ahead in your life, doing something that makes you happy, makes you the best version of yourself. Go do it, feeling awesome!
